MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (September 15, 2021) – Mount Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie declared Business Appreciation Month at the September Council Meeting, in the presence of Mount Pleasant Town Council and Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce President Eddie Phipps and representatives.
“Mount Pleasant is a business-friendly community that would like to show appreciation to the individuals that do business here and contribute to the growth and economic health of our community,” said Mayor Haynie. “Our goal is to provide a fresh and ever-evolving atmosphere to remain a competitive, interesting, and desirable destination in which to do business.”
Throughout the month and leading up to the Sept. 23 Mount Pleasant Business Expo, the Town is promoting its business-focused programs and celebrating the historically high level of businesses, which have held ribbon cuttings in 2021.
“The Town of Mount Pleasant supports the entrepreneurial spirit by being a community that not only welcomes new businesses but supports them by providing resources and assistance throughout the start-up process,” added Mayor Haynie.
