MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (Sept. 11, 2020) - At Tuesday’s Town Council Meeting, Mayor Will Haynie proclaimed September Business Appreciation Month in the Town of Mount Pleasant, with a goal of providing a fresh and ever-evolving atmosphere to remain a competitive, interesting, and desirable destination to do business in. Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce President Shane Griffin received the proclamation.
“The Town of Mount Pleasant is a business-friendly community that would like to show appreciation to the individuals that do business here and contribute to the growth and economic health of our community," states the mayoral proclamation. “The Town strives to build and strengthen relationships among local entrepreneurs and business owners and create a supportive, open, and encouraging business environment that is inviting and attractive.”
“The Town of Mount Pleasant supports the entrepreneurial spirit by being a community that not only welcomes new businesses but supports them by providing resources and offering assistance throughout the start-up process,” added Mayor Haynie.
