MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (January 18, 2018) - The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG) will host a public open house to discuss the Regional Transit Framework Plan (RTFP) on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, and the public is invited to drop by to learn more about the project and provide input.
The public open house will take place at the Felix C. Davis Community Center at 4800 Park Circle, North Charleston, SC 29405 (accessible by CARTA routes 13 and 104). Attendees may drop by and participate any time between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; a formal presentation will not be given.

Individuals who are unable to attend the public open house can join us online at https://bcdcog.com/framework/ immediately following the in-person event to view all meeting materials, provide input, and leave a comment for the project team. The online meeting will be live through February 27.
The RTFP has been moving forward in recent months, and the BCDCOG will share findings on current and future regional characteristics that impact the development of a transit framework for the tri-county area. Attendees will have the opportunity to review exhibits, provide written comments, vote on priority transit corridors and modes, and meet one-on-one with the BCDCOG and study team members.
Throughout the planning process, there will be opportunities for community feedback via public engagement opportunities and the RTFP project website at https://bcdcog.com/framework/. Timelines with project status, significant milestones, and future project events are also available on the site.
