MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (April 27, 2016) – Alhambra Hall was buzzing with excitement at a recent networking event and ribbon cutting ceremony. The East Cooper Hospitality Alliance recently hosted a Social Media Training and Grand Re-opening Celebration of Alhambra Hall. Molly Blatt, Director of Media Relations with the Charleston Area Convention and Visitor Bureau, and Christina Hensch, Account Manager with Levelwing, shared their social media expertise.
Throughout the presentation, the pair covered topics ranging from engagement to media partnerships. After the presentation, the audience was invited to a networking event and social hour.
During the Grand Re-opening, Mount Pleasant Mayor Linda Page and Mount Pleasant Town Council held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the renovations of the restrooms, bride and groom suites. The event was attended by hospitality professionals, event planners and local business owners. The delicious appetizers and dessert were provided by local catering company Island Porch.
“Hosting the social media training and unveiling the new restrooms and bride and groom suites demonstrated that Alhambra Hall is a perfect venue for both business affairs and wedding destinations,” said Cultural Affairs & Tourism Officer Ashley Richardson. “We are excited to showcase the renovations to the community and would like to thank the East Cooper Hospitality Alliance for their contribution to the evening.”
And the renovations are not all that Alhambra Hall has to offer. “The historic charm, iconic lawn and waterfront view are second to none in the region,” said Alhambra Hall Manager April Adams. “Our facility is booked for weddings over the next two years. We also recently began offering a corporate day rate and are excited about the new clients to come.”
