March 21, 2018 - May 23, 2018 @ Course is delivered in a hybrid format utilizing online training modules and a field day!
The Pond Manager course offers two tracts for Recreational ponds and Stormwater ponds. Learn how to inspect pond systems for structural, water quality, and water quantity performance. The course will be offered through Clemson's Center for Watershed Excellence. Maintaining ponds helps to protect local water resources and properties from damage. Timely and adequate maintenance of these complex systems can save system owners over time. Learn how to identify potential problems before they become costly repairs; and much more! The abbreviated course option (letter of completion) is designed to allow private pond owners, such as a homeowner association member, the opportunity to gain content knowledge in one of the pond management areas without the rigor of the full achievement program.
