  1. 2018 Mount Pleasant Children’s Day Festival

    Old and new traditions delight at the Annual Town of Mount Pleasant Children’s Day Festival presented by Publix! East Cooper schools will host carnival games centered on the events theme. Families will enjoy carnival rides, giant inflatable slides, live entertainment, face painting and many other activities! Admission and all activities are free. Free parking is available at Cario Middle School and Charles Pinckney/Laurel Hill – shuttles run all day or simply use the cut-through and enjoy a nice short walk! Food concessions are offered by East Cooper schools for fundraising.

  6. Charles Pickney Historical Site: Indigo - The Process of Extracting

    Earlier this summer our friends at the International Center for Indigo Culture (ICIC) planted a small indigo crop at Charles Pinckney National Historic Site. The plants have grown well, and they are ready for dye extraction. Join us to experience the process of indigo dye extraction that is fundamentally connected to the Pinckney name.
