MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (July 20, 2016) – Mount Pleasant Mayor Linda Page and Mount Pleasant Councilman Elton Carrier, along with Mount Pleasant Business Association (MPBA) Vice President Jen Van Buskirk joined Barre South Owner Brett Dunevant in cutting the ribbon at her new facility located at 735 Coleman Blvd. Barre South is an independently owned barre studio offering classes open to all levels.
"We're delighted to see Barre South join the growing number of businesses located at the boulevard," said Mayor Page. “We're starting to see a very exciting business ecosystem grow, creating walk ability from residences and from business to business.”
Owner/Instructor Brett Dunevant, moved back to Charleston a year ago with the intention of bringing a fun and challenging method of barre to the Lowcountry. “We are delighted to open our doors in Mount Pleasant. We just love the Town,” she said.
Barre South provides an intense 60-minute full-body workout that uses low-impact isometric movements to strengthen and tone targeted muscles throughout the body. Classes are quick paced and driven to fun music to keep you moving and motivated.
“No class is the same at Barre South; each instructor keeps it fresh and interesting by offering new choreography each and every day,” added Dunevant.
