MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (September 18, 2015) - Where can you network with business professionals from across the Lowcountry, win great prizes and enjoy a few hours of music, free food provided by local restaurants and a beer or glass of wine?
The answer to that question is at the annual Mount Pleasant Business and Community Expo.
The Expo, sponsored by the Mount Pleasant Business Association, will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Omar Shrine Convention Center on Patriots Point Boulevard. Last year’s event drew a crowd of around 1,200 people, and a similar – or better – turnout is expected this year. There is no admission charge.
Billed as Mount Pleasant’s biggest networking event, the Expo will feature 70 exhibitors. The mood will change only slightly from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., when Hanz Wenzel takes the stage, beer and wine go on sale. Food will be provided by Sticky Fingers, Jimmy John’s, Burton’s Grill, Southerly, and ice cream from Servicemaster Clean. The happy hour will take place on the convention floor, so attendees will continue to be able to meet with exhibitors until the Expo closes at 7 p.m.
The title sponsor for the Expo is local law firm Clawson and Staubes, while the community sponsors are Tony Pope State Farm, Island Realty, news radio 94.3, Nelson Printing, Windwood Family Services, and the town of Mount Pleasant.
