MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (July 31, 2015) – The Town of Mount Pleasant Cultural Affairs and Tourism Office has launched a free new app, Experience Mount Pleasant, that offers residents and visitors quick, easy access to hospitality, accommodation and local event information.
“Whether you are traveling to Mount Pleasant and need hotel information, just looking for something fun to do, or trying to get dining ideas, this app will help you make your plans,” said Cultural Affairs and Tourism Officer Ashley Richardson. “Experience Mount Pleasant allows you to search our beautiful accommodations, fun-filled attractions and nationally-recognized restaurants.”
Developed by Wholly App, Experience Mount Pleasant provides detailed information such as directions and telephone numbers for every hotel, eatery and attraction in the town. Special events are also spotlighted in the consistently updated calendar located within the app.
“We are lucky to live in a community that has a number of concerts, festivals, dances and more throughout the year,” said Richardson. “There is always something to do in Mount Pleasant!”
The calendar gives users the opportunity to design their vacation around popular events such as the Cooper River Bridge Run and the Lowcountry Oyster Festival as well as the town’s special events like the Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival and the Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade.
Other features of the app include weather updates, contact information for inquiring visitors and direct access to the town’s social media sites. For more information, visit www.ComeOnOverMP.com
