MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (April 21, 2015) – The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market, a popular destination for residents and visitors alike, will soon get permanent restrooms on site as part of a series of capital improvements projects currently underway town-wide. Patrons visiting the market will observe fencing installed around the perimeter of the project site during construction. The project was recently bid and is expected to be complete by August.
“To meet the needs of our citizens and visitors and to continue successful programming at the Farmers Market Pavilion, we have designed an ADA compliant public restroom area featuring three restrooms to include a family stall,” said Ashley Richardson, Cultural Affairs and Tourism Officer. “The structure will blend in with the existing design of the pavilion and enhance the comfort of our patrons.”
