MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (April 15, 2015) - The Town of Mount Pleasant will begin installing traffic calming devices (speed humps) within the community beginning tomorrow. Work is scheduled to be completed within the next 30 days. Below is the schedule subject to weather conditions.
April, 16 through April, 20: Rice Hope Drive
April, 17 through April, 21 : Nantahalia Drive
April, 20 through April, 22: North Shellmore Blvd.
April, 22 through April, 24: York Street
April, 23 through April, 27: Hobcaw Drive
(Please note that the schedule for Pherigo and Whilden will follow at a later date)
The contractor will close one lane at a time and utilize flagging operations to direct traffic. The public should expect delays during the dates and locations listed above and may want to seek alternate routes. Drivers should use caution when driving through these areas.
