Town Reminds Businesses to Continue to Follow State of Emergency Guidelines

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (December 30, 2020) - The Town of Mount Pleasant is reminding businesses that Executive Order 2020-77, signed by Governor McMaster on December 23, 2020, extends South Carolina's State of Emergency until January 8, 2021, unless modified or amended.

Executive Order 2020-77 extends the 'Last Call' order which prohibits the sale of alcohol in restaurants and bars beyond 11:00 p.m. Celebrations related to New Year's Eve are not exempt. The order also continues to suspend visitations at nursing homes and detention centers.
