Registration Guidelines

Registration


Anyone and everyone regardless of ability may register for a program through the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department. Non-residents of Mount Pleasant will be charged an additional $15 or $30 on programs, $50 on youth athletics and $27 on adult athletics.

All Recreation Department buildings are accessible to all persons. Those needing special assistance should notify the center in advance.

Ways to register:



1. Register online at www.MtPleasantRec.com/Register

 

New Users:

To use our online registration program you must have previously registered for an activity with MPRD. If you have not registered for any activities with us in the past, you will need to come to one of our centers to register. If this is your child’s first time participating in a recreation activity, you must provide an original or certified copy of their birth certificate or passport. The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department does not retain a copy of birth certificates. Once you have registered, you will be assigned a username and password. 
Note: You may enroll as a new member at any point. We recommend that you enroll as a new member and have your login information ready and available prior to any registration period. 

Returning Users:


If you do not remember your username or password, click on “Forgot Password” and follow the directions. Your username and password will be emailed to you in two emails. If you are still unable to reset your password, please call the R.L. Jones Center at (843) 884-2528.

Guidelines:


We recommend perusing the brochure and choosing your activities prior to logging on to our website. Note the activity number assigned to each activity. You will need this number when registering. 
Mount Pleasant Recreation Department only accepts VISA and MASTERCARD.
No discounts are given online.
Registration dates are set in advance and subject to change. Refer to our website, information sheets, or call for an update.

How to register online:
Go to https://webtrac.tompsc.com
Enter your username and password. Click on “Login”. 
Click on “Browse Activities”.
Enter the activity number (or find an activity using the various search options). Click on “Search”.
Click on the cart icon next to the activity you want.
Click on “Enroll Now”. (Hint: The button will appear at the very bottom of your screen.) 
Select a household member to enroll by clicking on the box under his/her name.
Click on “Add to Cart”.
Read the disclaimer and click on “Agree”.
If prompted, answer the questions related to your activity. 
Click on “Continue Shopping” to add more activities or if you are done shopping, click on “Proceed to Checkout”.
Review your Summary of Charges.
Enter your payment information. Click on “Finish”.
A Confirmation Receipt will be emailed to you based on the email address on your Click on “Logout”.

2. Register in person

at the Richard L. Jones Center Monday - Saturday, or at the G.M. Darby Building or Park West Recreation Complex Monday - Friday.

3. Register by mail

by completing the appropriate registration form below and mailing it in with your check. All checks must have a local address and the writer's date of birth and drivers license number and state.

Refund and Transfer Policies


Should an activity or program be canceled by the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department, the patron will receive a 100% refund within two weeks of the activity or program being canceled. Requests must be made by an adult 18 years or older.
 

Program Division Refund and Transfer Policy


A $10 processing fee will be charged for each participant's request for a refund.
Request for refunds will be considered with at least five (5) business days notice prior to the
start of the program/class.

A $10 processing fee will be charged for all transfers.
Request for transfers must be requested at least three (3) business days prior to program/class
start date.

Camps Refund and Transfer Policy


For all camps $50 or under, there is a $25 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit required to reserve a space in camp. For all camps over $50, a $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required. No additional processing fee will be charged for transfers of remaining balances.

Athletic Refund and Transfer Policy


No refunds or transfers will be considered after the first game of the season.
Late fees are non-refundable.

If there are different levels of play in the same sport and the Athletic Coordinator suggests the
child be transferred up or down to accommodate the child's level of play, then the transfer fee
will not apply.

Scholarship Information


Scholarships are available. Please click on the links below for Mount Pleasant Recreation Department's Policy and Application. All Scholarship submittals must be received in the Recreation Administrative Office ten (10) days prior to the activity registration date you would like to be considered for Scholarship Criteria.
