Mathis Ferry Trail
Description
Phase 1 of the Mathis Ferry Trail is proposed from the Scanlonville Praise House Trail at 5th Avenue to the Eagle Street crossing. This 5,800 ft segment is proposed along the north side of Mathis Ferry Road and is proposed to be concrete path that is 10ft to 12ft in width. Staff is pursuing Charleston County Greenbelt funds for Spring of 2023. Any letters of support for the project can be sent to the project manager James Aton at jaton@tompsc.com.
We will have a public meeting on January 17, 2023, from 5pm to 7pm at the Town Hal (100 Ann Edwards Ln, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464). This is a drop-in style meeting.
