Old Village Harbor 5k

The Old Village Harbor 5k is offered to residents and visitors each year in November. More than 200 runners participate in the race throughout the picturesque Old Village. This is a must for all newcomers, for seasoned runners, walkers and dogs. 

The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department has proudly organized the Old Village 5k road race for more than two decades. It starts and finishes at the historic Alhambra Hall located in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant. Run or walk along the beautiful and scenic streets as you discover a past full of colonial architecture design and amazing harbor views. Stay and relax after the race with music, refreshments, and a raffle prize giveaway. Dogs and strollers are welcome! 

The Town of Mount Pleasant will host the 22nd Annual Old Village 5k Run/Walk Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at Alhambra Hall 8:30 am. Same-day early registration begins at 7:30 am.

Resident Notice of Street Closure

The 5K itinerary will include Middle, Pitt, Center, Bennett, Venning, Hibben, Morrison, King, Bank, Ferry, McCants, and McCormick Streets. Residents living on these streets may experience some minor disruption to their routine because of the event. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
